This quick cradle from the Advanta Protector range takes fish care to the next level. The cradle is extremely light and features a portable pop-up design meaning you can set up quick and easy for when you need to dehook a carp. This is a sided cradle design with a large, padded base but just without weight and bulk of many of the solid frame cradles on the market. The sides of the cradle can be folded out to go on the floor and comfort your knees when kneeling to unhook and photograph the fish. This keeps your clothes clean and your knees safe from sharp debris which would be especially effective when wearing some shorts in the summer months. Another side flap to cover the main area of the cradle when the fish would lay. This makes a shelter for the fish during the short time you are having them out of the water. The cradle-like structure of the design means water will stay central with the fish offering a more comfortable experience for the fish. The fish is also laying on a thick foam base for cushioning.
The lightweight frame not only makes it easy to put up but also significantly reduces the weight of the item. The dimensions of the cradle are 120cm x 70cm x 30cm, plenty big enough for UK or even large European carp.
