This rod should complement a huge variety of casting styles and, unlike the original Trebuchet, doesn’t require top end casting skill to be able to get the most from its power.
Unlike the original Trebuchet the Trebuchet Light has a springier butt section, making the rod feel as if it is alive! This springiness is part of the reason this rod is such a pleasure to cast as it ensures that the rod is much less demanding – it requires less effort in technique and timing and it allows you to focus on distance and accuracy! However, it’s not only the butt section of the rod that has benefited from modification in the Light. The tip has also been modified to help effortless casting – although it still maintains a high speed to maximise your distance casting potential. This makes it the ideal tool for all your distance carp fishing.
As with all Harrison rods this Trebuchet Light has been manufactured in the UK using cutting edge rod manufacture techniques. This is why the rod has been manufactured from a low resin and high modulus carbon, with lightweight carbon scrims. The lower half of the rod is finished with 3K fabric, too. This not only looks great but it also adds additional strength in the butt section whilst retaining the rod’s lightweight and slender appearance.
